Nevill Holt Estate in Leicestershire was the venue for The Dove Valley Working Gundog Club’s first two day Open AV Retriever Field Trial by kind permission of Mr David Ross. Dove Valley Working Gundog Club celebrating 20 years and remembering Mr George Handley "the founder" who sadly passed away July 2014.

Judges; Mr P Allen, Mr D Field, Mr J Day and Mr R Worrall watched the 24 competitors compete over two days in on championship ground. They saw the successes and failures of each dog.
Steward of the Beat, Mr Paul Evans made sure there was a good supply of game giving each competitor a fair chance over two days of trialing. The winner qualified for the 2014 IGL Retriever Championship held at Windsor Great Park.
