Blankney Estates in Lincolnshire was the venue for The Midland Counties Labrador Retriever Club’s 24 dog two day Open AV Retriever Field Trial by kind permission of Mr Richard Parker.  The Judges; Mr I. Openshaw, Mrs P. Dunckley, Mr G. Bennett and Mr C. Horwill watched the competitors compete over two days in sugar beet on championship ground.  They saw the successes and failures of each dog.

Steward of the Beat, Mr Terry Stothard made sure there was a good supply of game giving each competitor a fair chance over two days of trialing.  The winner qualified for the 2013 IGL Retriever Championship held at Lauder,Scottish Borders.
