The Park Farm Wormegay, near Kings Lynn in Norfolk was the venue for The Norfolk Gundog Club’s 110th 24 dog
Open Stake A.V. Retriever Field Trial by kind permission of Mr Ian Symington and Guns.  Judges John Castle, Phil Highfield, Richard Beckerleg and Brian Baker watched the competitors in a mixture of sugar beet, leeks and mustard they saw the successes and failures of each dog.
Steward of the Beat, William Beckerleg made sure there was a good supply of game giving each competitor a fair chance over two days of trialling, made an exciting competition, the winning dog qualified for The 2011 IGL Retriever Championship.
